Frequently Asked Questions
What types of counseling do you offer?
We provide individual counseling, couples counseling, and family therapy in Bend, Oregon. Our licensed therapists help clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma recovery, and stress management. We offer both in-person sessions in our Bend office and secure telehealth sessions for clients throughout Oregon.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept many major insurance plans, including PacificSource, Regence BlueCross BlueShield, MODA, and First Choice Health. We also offer a sliding-scale fee option for clients without insurance. Contact our office and we can help verify your benefits before your first appointment.
How do I know if counseling is right for me?
If you’re struggling with your mood, relationships, work, motivation, or simply feel “off” and unsure why, counseling can provide a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings. Our therapists help you gain insight, develop coping skills, and make meaningful changes.
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know you, understand what’s bringing you to counseling, and discuss your goals. We’ll ask questions about your history, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This is also a time for you to ask questions and see if we’re the right fit.
Do you offer online counseling?
Yes. We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for clients located anywhere in Oregon. Many clients appreciate the flexibility and convenience of online therapy, while still receiving the same quality care they would in person.
How long does therapy take?
The length of therapy depends on your goals and needs. Some clients come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others benefit from longer-term therapy to work through deeper patterns. Your therapist will collaborate with you to determine the pace and duration that’s right for you.
Are your therapists experienced with trauma and EMDR?
Yes. Several of our therapists are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and trauma-informed care. We help clients process and heal from past experiences in a safe, supportive environment.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule by calling us at (541) 639-8987 or emailing [your email address]. We’ll match you with a therapist whose expertise and availability best fit your needs.
Where is your office located?
